His Face Is All I See

He watches over me as I sleep.

He awakes me with the morning light.

He blesses me throughout the new day.

He takes care of me as I work and play.

He guides me on the path of life.

People need to believe in him to have a life of joy and peace.

Thank you heavenly Father for sending Jesus in my life.

He gives his love to all people.

His Hands

His hands were just like mine at birth.  They were small and soft.

His hands, as he grew, folded in prayer for his heavenly Father.

His hands were strong and rough- that of a carpenter, like his earthly father.

His hands blessed others everywhere he went.

His hands comforted everyone they touched.

His hands healed the sick, weak and dying.

His hands and arms are always open for his children to come to him.

His hands held him on the cross, spilling blood that paid the price for our sins.

His hands show the ultimate unconditional love he gives to us.

His hands are the way I long for my hands to be.

His hands can lead me to show love to others too.

His hands and arms around me someday is where I will be.

His hands are the best hands in the world.

Where Is He?

Do you ever wonder in times of uncertainty where he is?
He is everywhere, he is always with you.
He is the gentle breeze.
He blesses you with every sneeze.
He is the soft clouds in the sky.
There is no need to ask why.
He is on the butterfly’s wings.
He is in the birds that sing.
He is in a child’s smile.
He is who helps you finish that last mile.
He is among the trees.
He is in the sound of bumblebees.
He is there in the meadow with the flowers.
He is with us every hour.

There is no need to wonder where he is.
He promises he will never leave us.
Have faith, trust and believe in him.
Your life will be blessed with his grace.
His love will shine down brightly on your face.

I Wish

I wish people would love us for who we are. I wish they would not see us as different. Who’s to say they are not the different ones? I wish for love and kindness to be given toward all people. I wish people had the love for God like I do. I wish that there was no war and we lived in peace. I wish people would not treat each other with so little respect. I wish love was in the hearts of everyone, not envy, hatred and bitterness. I wish that everyone could be saved from this world of evil. I wish all humans would read the Bible and trust in the one true God. I wish all mankind would believe in Jesus as their Savior. He died to take away the sins of the world. I wish the Holy Spirit would work in the hearts of everyone, so their words and actions would show love for God. These are my wishes for this world.

What If I?

I have been asked to start a blog by a countless number of people.  I hope that this blog can help me share how God’s love for me is helping me overcome my autism.  I hope to inspire others with my hopeful outlook on life. I communicate by spelling my thoughts on a letter board.  This method of communication is called Rapid Prompting Method, and it has changed my life.  For years, I was unable to effectively communicate and express myself.  Now, I am able to share years’ worth of thoughts with you all.

The following is what I spelled when asked what I’d like my first blog post to be.

What if I were the only one left to proclaim God’s love and grace?  I would do it humbly and proud to share his mercy above. The world hungers for the love and peace that comes from him. What if I did not listen closely to his whisper and share it with the world?  Think of the souls that would stay lost.  It’s important to love each other enough to keep them on the straight and narrow path to heaven.

What if I said, “No, Lord, not me!  Find someone else to ask to do this job.  I can’t possibly do it. I have no voice.  I only have a finger to point to letters.  It takes too much time.  People will never listen to me, I’m just a boy.”

What if I were the loveless person who doesn’t find time for God and felt like, “Who needs him?”, or the cold-hearted person that walks through life shallow and fake.  That is how many are here on earth.

What if I didn’t care enough to help mankind?  I could be stubborn and not listen to his call.  I am far from equipped to do this massive job he has put before me.  My heart tells me to do what Jesus would do.  God will be with me always.

What if I love from my heart like Jesus did and share his encouraging message with the world?  Will he bless me even more than he already has?  I am his beloved child.  He loves me no matter what.  His love outshines the sun.

What if I say I will carry on and do your work, Lord, here on earth?  I will bring others to Christ.  I will empty my heart with the Holy Spirit upon others.  I will, I will, I promise.  Send me.

Love, Gavin Schultz
